The Woman in the Mirror team talks about why we did this and how it changed all of us moving forward. Thank you from the entire team for watching our Zoom table read series. Be sure to follow us on Facebook or Instagram (links below) to find out when we finally get to bring this live to a stage near you.

Refreshingly honest and laced with dark humor, the play The Woman in the Mirror stands as a testament to personal strength and resiliency in the face of extraordinary and unexpected circumstances. When her mother Fran Nicholson was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, daughter Dayna Steele began posting messages on Facebook detailing the alarming and shocking struggles she and her family were experiencing. With biting humor and raw emotion, the show provides caregivers and future caregivers with an on-stage manual to navigate the disease with love, laughter, and wine.

The Woman in the Mirror play is a 10-episode video series filmed as a Zoom table read/rehearsal with creator Dayna Steele, co-star Chris King, and director Marley Singletary. Subscribe here:

Each episode features a follow-up interview with an expert relevant to that part of the story. New episodes are posted each Friday morning, with the last airing on September 11th, Fran Nicholson’s birthday.

Note: We will debut this production live on stage at MATCH in Houston when it is safe to gather again.
