Emily Blunt is the Funniest Woman Alive
she is a very talented individual. She never ceases to amaze me with her acting skills and the diversity of her roles. In my opinion she can play anything, and I can’t wait to see what else she is going to show us in the future. She just blew me away with her performance in Edge of Tomorrow, Sicario and not to mention Girl on a train. I think she has such a strong screen presence it just intimidates me. If I was an actor I would be terrified to be in a film with her. Not because she’s scary or anything but just because I think she’s on a level that only few can reach which would be so intimidating for me (if I was an actor). Note that I am not in the film business or anything, so this is just my personal opinion.
I am also amazed by all the positive stories I hear about her. Not only is she extremely funny and has a great sense of humour, from what I read and saw in videos she is also very kind-hearted and loves interacting with her fans. I am therefore rather curious how a face-to-face meeting with her would be, if that were ever to happen. In fact I think I’d be totally overwhelmed if I would ever end up standing face-to-face with her. I think I wouldn’t even know what to say. I still hope though that one day I get this lucky but since I live in Europe chances are quite slim. It never hurts to dream though 🙂
To me personally she is also very inspiring. And I’m sure I am not the only one. I am a semi-professional writer for about 20 years now and currently I am working on a new project. One of the main female characters is completely inspired by a mix of characters Emily has played, and Emily herself. Somehow the way she portrays her characters and her own personality were exactly what I needed for this project and choosing her as the role-model for one of the main characters so far is proving to be the best choice ever.
