Don’t Miss This Series Opener!!
Through his books and workshops, Allen Klein has spent over twenty-years showing people how to find and use humor in not-so-funny stuff.  Allen Klein is no stranger to loss, but he has used his experiences to re-frame death and loss in the best of ways, often in the worst of times.

A pioneer in therapeutic humor, Allen Klein came to this field after his wife passed away at the age of thirty-four. It was her sense of humor that helped him cope with the loss. He now shares that information with the world. He has spoken at five National Hospice Organization conferences, over two-dozen state hospice conferences, and more than100 hospices around the country.

His first book, *The Healing Power of Humor*, shows readers how to do this in everyday situations.   His second book, *The Courage to Laugh:
Humor, Hope and Healing in the Face of Death and Dying*, specifically shows readers how others have found something to laugh about in their loss. Another one of his books, *Learning to Laugh When You Feel Like Crying*, shows readers, through five stages, how to embrace life
after a loss.
And his most recent book, *You Can’t Ruin My Day*, has 52 wake-up calls that shows readers how to turn any situation around.
He is not only a best-selling author but also an award-winning professional speaker and the recipient of several awards including:

-A Lifetime Achievement Award from the Assn. for Applied and Therapeutic Humor
-A Certified Speaking Professional designation from the National Speaker’s Association
-A Communication and Leadership Award from Toastmaster’s International

As we like to say NO ONE is getting out of this gig alive!   So we may as well talk about, learn about it, plan for it, lean into it, and feel comfortable with it when it is our time or the time of our loved ones.

Please share and help us get the word out

Can you think of someone:
– who has had multiple losses and is having a hard time?

– who has suffered the loss of a parent, sibling, child or multiple losses like this?

– who is having a hard time finding their way even though they are going through the motions and “seemingly” on the outside moving through life?
If you do, please pass this invitation (or after the fact, recording…) on
You never know when a suggestion out of the blue from YOU, can give another a reason to go on.  Powerful stuff, our stories are — they let us know we are not alone.  And there are people, in this case, only a mouse click away to with whom to connect and share.
