Sierra Club’s Otzinachson Group hosted a virtual program to learn about Great Old Broads for Wilderness, a national, grassroots organization, led by women, that engages and inspires activism to protect and preserve wilderness and public lands. As a women-led conservation organization, they bring over 30 years of knowledge, leadership, and humor to the wilderness preservation movement and we have a lot of fun while doing serious and challenging work!

Hear from Lauren Berutich, Broads’ Associate Director, about the organization’s priority advocacy campaigns such as wilderness designation, influencing public lands legislation and policy, restoring Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments, and habitat connectivity issues threatening biodiversity in our country and along the U.S. border with Mexico.
